Lobster Cards are the creation of Annalese and Will Murray

Living with their daughter Isla and little dog Lulu in one of the UK’s most stunning ‘Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, Annalese and Will drew on Hope Cove and Salcombe's long established history of fishing and lobster potting to create ‘Lobster Cards’.

It was hard not to be inspired by the beauty of the coast and the richness and quality of life associated with life beside the sea. The amazing energy that springs from the sea makes you feel truly alive; you want to get out there and live every moment!

They both believe that strong personal relationships and connecting daily with nature are the things that really matter and these are the values they’ve used to help them create Lobster Cards.

Lobster Cards are based on the same psychology and methodology that Will used back in 2006 to create ‘Packtypes’, the world’s first psychometric based card game. Thousands of schools, charities, the police, the NHS, government agencies and businesses now use Packtypes, to help individuals and teams of all ages become more self-aware, feel more confident, relate to each other better and be more successful. www.packtypes.com

A bit about Will and Annalese

Will is the ideas man whilst Annalese is the one who does the actual work!

They met back in 2000, when Will rapidly realised that Annalese was 'his Lobster Love Match’ and the rest, as they say, is history!

For the last 20 years Will has been writing books on relationships whilst working as a relationship trouble shooter, helping schools, teams and organisations perform and work well together. When he’s not working or writing, Will can often be seen riding around on his electric bike; the second love of his life!

What Annalese saw in Will remains a mystery but she married him in 2003 and as luck would have it, has been blissfully happy ever since! She’s one of those rare beings who genuinely likes people. She loves it when customers describe the positive impact Lobster Cards and Packtypes have had on their lives and the lives of their family and friends.

Annalese does all our design work, bringing Will’s ideas to life. She also oversees the production, distribution, social media and finance sides of the business. In fact pretty much everything really. Living in Devon is the icing on the cake for Annalese. Combining working hard with being a mum, kayaking, paddle boarding with a bit of 'am dram' means life is never dull.
If you want anything done; ask Annalese!

Meet John Aspden - Lobster Card illustrator

Supporting those he loves and spreading a little joy through his paintings are the things that matter most to John. He loves working in Salcombe, Devon, especially as his studio is on Island Street which to his mind is the real heart of the town, full of good hard working people who support each other like a family. Widely recognised for his beautiful paintings of lobsters, John wanted to capture their magnificent power and grace, but with an added sprinkling of fun.

“Will and I have been friends for many years, I remember our first meeting. We talked for hours about all aspects of life and I noticed a real integrity and kindness about Will. We are two likeminded souls with a passion for the poetical life.”
